BASICS
The airport is located 11 miles (18 km) south of the center of Ottawa. On the airport's Web site, you will find:
TAXI
Taxi fare to the city center hotels, near Parliament, the convention center, and the national museums, will be about $20 Canadian ($13). Travel time is about 20 minutes.
BUS
A hotel shuttle runs 20 minutes before the hour and 10 minutes after the hour, from about 6 A.M. to 1 A.M. You can find the shuttle just outside the arrivals area. Fare is $9 Canadian ($6) one-way. Check with your hotel, to see if it is included in the bus route, or phone 1-888-862-7433. Travel time is from 20 to 30 minutes.
PUBLIC TRANSIT
Two public buses, Routes 96 and 97, run from Ottawa to the airport, from 5 A.M. to 1 A.M., with three-four departurs an hour. The fare is $2.25 Canadian ($1.50).
RENTAL CAR
Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz, Thrifty, and Tilden are at the airport.
